British architecture firm PRP has taken over the landscaping of Myatts Field North. The designers decided to focus on public life. Convenience, safety, environmental friendliness are the basic principles of organizing a new space.
Almost a third of the district will be occupied by a park, one of the main "green" objects, it will become one of the largest in London, along with the Olympic Park, created for the 2012 Games. The plan for future development shows how a large-scale community center seems to grow out of the green zone: the lawn spreads on the sloping roof of the multifunctional complex. As noted by Richard Harvey, deputy director of the PRP bureau, when designing, the architects tried to take into account the most diverse wishes of local residents. As a result, the building will house a cafe, an IT center, a music / youth space, a residential area administration office and even a nursery.
