The plot received by the school administration to expand its area is adjacent to a residential area built up with small private mansions of the late 19th century. The nature of its current development largely determined the architectural solution of the new educational building. The architects did everything to ensure that from the side of the historic quarter, especially as a building that closes the street's perspective, it was perceived as an integral part of it. That is why the roof of the complex has a complex silhouette, made up of several gables of different heights and shapes. Due to the fact that the entire street facade of the building has no windows and is lined with black slate, from afar it is perceived as a single smooth surface, as if cut from a stencil - this is how the architects were able to organically fit the new building into the panorama of the existing area, and emphasize its modern origin.
The façade and roof, facing the school's courtyard, have a completely different design. The roof is covered with tiles in two colors - gray and red - alternating with wide stripes. The same stripes were used in the design of the courtyard facade, steps of the school porch and the interiors of the public areas of the new building. But the side facades (southern and northern), at first glance, are solved, on the contrary, emphatically neutral planes, the only decoration of which is tape glazing. And only when you come close to the building, you will notice that in fact these facades are not as simple as they seem: the windows are sunk into the walls, the "folds" of which are set by the expressive form of the black firewall.
