If earlier it seemed sufficient in an apartment to have only central heating batteries for heating and an open window for ventilation and cooling of air in the room, now it is difficult to imagine a house without such devices as underfloor heating or air conditioning. And for good ventilation of all rooms, it is not always enough to open a window. In this article, we will look at how devices that provide the desired temperature and humidity in the house can be integrated into a smart home system from Schneider Electric.

First of all, it must be emphasized that any engineering devices can be integrated into the building automation system, be it heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. In this case, they will be controlled in accordance with the specified parameters, making the work of all the above devices harmonious and efficient. As the simplest example of how the actions of all devices included in the smart home system are coordinated with each other, the following can be cited: when the air conditioner is running, the heating does not work and vice versa (the only exception can be a warm floor that maintains the optimal temperature for the feet in a room cooled by an air conditioner). In other words, the system will itself use certain devices necessary to maintain a given temperature in the room. Plus, she will monitor the reasonable use of energy: for example, provide for a night temperature reduction in bedrooms and unpopulated rooms. The latter not only creates comfortable conditions for sleeping, but also allows you to significantly save on energy resources, which is especially important in country cottages that are independently heated. In addition, in the summer, in empty rooms, air conditioners are turned off for the night, and by the morning (automatically or on command) the system goes into daytime mode. It is also important that the “smart home” allows you to set different temperature regimes for different functional areas, for example, a library, a wine cellar, a greenhouse, a billiard room.

Special operating modes of the system are also provided in case of departure of the inhabitants of the house. So, in the winter, in the absence of the owners, the “smart house” will turn off the ventilation itself, and the heating system will bring it to the minimum power, sufficient to keep the pipes from freezing in winter. But at the same time, your “smart home” will always be ready to meet you; the system is easy to control remotely. It is enough to use your phone or laptop to "warn" the house about your return in a couple of hours, so that by your arrival it will become warm and cozy.

Controlling the climate in your home is not only convenient, it is also beneficial. Indeed, when using such a system, only the necessary energy is consumed to maintain the necessary conditions. And you will not only not feel discomfort from such savings, but on the contrary, it will make your life easier and more pleasant. "Smart Home" from Schneider Electric will turn your home into an island paradise, resistant to any whims of changeable Russian weather.
