Russia wants to build in a new way - the architecture of the building should include ensuring the minimization of energy consumption for cooling the premises in the summer, as well as the maximum use of solar energy for heating in the winter. Thus, natural resources are used to supply the building all year round. At the same time, the financial component of the project must correspond to the concept of "democratic" - that is, not exceed 50 thousand rubles per square meter, taking into account engineering systems and interior decoration: it is with such a construction cost that the project can become the basis for introducing new generation houses into "mass production" …
The first stage of the competition "Active House 2012" confirmed its exceptional timeliness and relevance, demonstrating the high interest of private architects and architectural firms: the number of applications submitted exceeded everything, even the most daring expectations of the organizers. For three months since the start, 205 applications from 52 cities of the country have been submitted! Moscow was the most active - 107 applications were received from Moscow architects; 20 applications came from St. Petersburg, 7 - from Novosibirsk, 6 - from Tyumen.
In February, the authoritative Expert Council of the competition began work, which included representatives of VELUX and Zagorodny Proekt - the creators of the first Active House in our country, NLK Domostroenie - the co-organizer of the competition, as well as other leading companies in the field of energy efficient technologies. Until February 10, the Expert Council will check the submitted projects, then the competitive works, along with the conclusions of the Council, will be sent to the jury members.
The works of the contestants will be judged by the jury in the following composition: Bart Goldhoorn - architect, publisher of Project Russia, Evgeniy Ass - professor at Moscow Architectural Institute, head of the Architects Ass bureau, Andris Trushinsh - chief architect of the POLYGON Architectural Laboratory, Nikolay Belousov - head of the architectural bureau “Oblo”, Henrik Norlander Smith - architect of VELUX, Alexander Remizov - chairman of the Council for Green Building at the Union of Architects of Russia, Michael Eichner - architect, professor at Moscow Architectural Institute, Andrey Vasiliev - General Director of Zagorodny Proekt company. The chairman of the jury is Evgeniy Ass.
The exhibition of competitive works will be held from 17 to 28 February in the VKHUTEMAS gallery. During the opening of the exhibition, the names of ten nominees of the competition will be announced, who will defend their projects before the jury of the competition to determine the winners
