The building is located in the center of the city, in the upper part of the valley descending to the sea, therefore it is clearly visible both from the surrounding quarters and from the seaside region of Moraira. Although this area is separated from Teulada proper by fields and is, in fact, an almost independent settlement, now, from a distance, a noticeable new building will connect both parts of the town with visual connections.
Also, the features of the landscape allowed Mangado to take advantage of the spectacular views of the valley and the water: the main facade was the facade overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It faces south, so it became an important task to protect its panoramic glazing from the heat of the sun. Therefore, it is placed in a deep loggia, faced with blue tiles; its "folds" resemble the facets of a precious stone. The "folds" continue in the interior, where they are made of rough concrete or plastered.
A café and a restaurant are hidden behind a transparent facade; below them, on the first floor, there is an exhibition space hidden from the outside behind a light "colonnade". Both tiers are connected by glazed openings in the ceilings.
