Samples of furniture fittings for the Valli & Valli factory are being developed by newsmakers of world architecture and design: Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Antonio Citterio … pens and add your names to the star list. The ProjectNEXT portal took part in the competition.
The first such competition was held by the "Triumphal Mark" in 2004. It was won by the Russian architect Arseny Leonovich from the Panacom bureau, and since then the pens created according to his project have been produced and sold.
More than 500 projects from 40 cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, the Baltic states, and even from Italy and France were sent to the 2012 competition. It is curious that the creations of our Western colleagues were not even shortlisted.
The first place was taken by the Moscow architect Mikhail Leikin. The shape of the winning Supersonic handle is inspired by the sweeping lines of supersonic aircraft.
It is pleasant that the opinion of the jury, chaired by the famous architect Massimilaino Fuksas, coincided with the opinion of the participants of the forum of the ProjectNEXT portal, where the projects included in the shortlist were very emotionally discussed. The winner will be rewarded with the implementation of the idea: the production of a prototype, the possibility of launching mass production with the subsequent conclusion of a contract for obtaining royalties (compensation for the use of copyright) and 3000 euros.
In addition, all winners and prize-winners of the competition received a door handle.
