On Friday, Rossiyskaya Gazeta published a new interview with Sergei Kuznetsov. The chief architect of Moscow promised to present the terms of reference for the new general plan by the end of the year, to attract international specialists to design the park on the site of Zaryadye, to create conditions in Moscow for talented young architects, shared his opinion on the territory of the Bauman market (where until recently it was planned to build a bath of the NCCA) - there a low city quarter, commensurate with a person, is more appropriate, says Sergey Kuznetsov. The chief architect considers it necessary to increase the density of the network of Moscow streets, to make rental housing more affordable and even "so that, living on Tverskaya, a person could work here, and living in Khimki, work in Khimki." An important message was that Sergey Kuznetsov invited Hans Stiman, the former chief architect of Berlin, who was involved in the reconstruction of Berlin after the reunification of Germany, to the new architectural council.

However, it may be premature to talk about a park at the site of Zaryadye: on Wednesday

it became known that the president instructed Vladimir Kozhin to work out the option of creating a government center either on Poklonnaya Gora or on the site of Zaryadye - reports, in particular, Gazeta.ru. In response, Alexander Baunov, on the pages of Bolshoy Gorod, recalled the history of the emergence of government blocks in the center of Moscow and compared “what Medvedev thinks” with “what Putin thinks”.

Students, on the other hand, should prepare for the move. According to the data published in Izvestia, educational campuses for five Moscow universities will be built on the territories annexed to Moscow, namely, for NRNU MEPhI, Moscow State Industrial University, Russian Economic University. G. V. Plekhanov, Moscow State Technical University of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (MIREA) and NUST MISiS. The ambitious plans for construction and relocation are expected to be implemented by 2020.

"Expert" again analyzes the results of the competition for the development of the best concept for the development of the Moscow agglomeration. The author of the article, Alexei Shchukin, writes: "The main ideas of the new general plan for Moscow should be the redevelopment of industrial zones, the transformation of the transport infrastructure, the new development of territories along the Moskva River and the elimination of the imbalance" housing - jobs "in the structure of the metropolis." The author of the article believes that the Moscow competition was largely copied from the 2007-2008 Grand Paris project, but it does not stand up to comparison with it: both because of the indifference of the federal government, and in view of the lack of information provided to the participants of the competition, which was hidden under classified as "secret". In general, it is possible to criticize the organization and holding of the competition for a long time, but the main complaint of Aleksey Shchukin is that “the Russian competition of ideas for the development of the metropolitan agglomeration took place after a political decision had already been made to expand Moscow to the southwest. The "Big Moscow" competition is an attempt to cover up the strange idea of expanding Moscow with the authority of Western urbanists."

The Tretyakov Gallery has announced a tender for adjusting the project for a complex of new museum buildings on Kadashevskaya Embankment, RIA Novosti reports, citing the public procurement portal: the maximum contract price is 400 million rubles, applications are accepted until November 15, and the results are scheduled to be announced on November 29. The project of the second stage of the museum town in Lavrushinsky has been discussed since 2004, when it was presented by Mosproekt-4 (AV Bokov, AG Serzhantov, etc., see, for example, here). It included several buildings: one in the back of the site behind the main building of the Tretyakov Gallery, the second, with a triangular atrium, on the Kadashevskaya embankment. It is proposed to adjust the facades, the size (or number) of windows and the width of the corridors.

Kommersant tells about the "Library of Architecture" exhibition, which is taking place in the General Staff Building in St. Petersburg. According to Kira Dolinina, "in terms of the degree of utterness and detachment from reality," this exhibition leaped ahead of the moving objects of Calatrava. " In total, in the East Wing of the General Staff, which opens after reconstruction, three exhibitions are planned at once within the framework of the Hermitage 20/21 project, dedicated to contemporary art.

Novaya Gazeta and RIA Novosti are analyzing the results of the competition for the project of the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum (which we have already briefly talked about; the winners were announced on October 9, the jury of the competition included architectural critic Grigory Revzin, among others). The author of "Novaya" Marina Tokareva expresses doubts that the Italians "will make the best museum", doubting, first of all, in the role of "consultant", which according to the project is assigned to the creator of the Bulgakov museum in apartment number 50 Marietta Chudakova: "… her brainchild," not a good apartment ", is shifting somewhere to the side" - says Marina Tokareva and here she informs that the acting director Valentna Dimenko hastily brought her daughter and niece into her team. What awaits the Bulgakov Museum will become clearer in December, when the Italian team will present a detailed concept of its development.

Anticipating Friday's opening of the Shigeru Bana pavilion in Gorky Park, Moskovskiye Novosti published an interview with Garage director Anton Belov. He calls Ban "one of the best contemporary architects" and talks about plans for the reconstruction of the second pavilion of the Garage in Gorky Park - "Seasons", on which, as you know, OMA is working (together with young Russian architects from the FORM bureau): it is planned complete within a year after the "registration of all documents."

Gorod 812 talked about the projects presented as part of the program for the reconstruction of the historical quarters of St. Petersburg with a member of the expert working group, architect Rafael Dayanov. In the two months allotted for the development of the concept, it was possible to prepare 11 projects for the development of the Konyushennaya and Severnaya Kolomna quarters. “These two territories are closely connected, this is the most historical place of St. Petersburg, more important, say, than the Petrograd side,” says Rafael Dayanov, “Putting this part in order will drag the whole city along.” Of the works presented, the architect noted only the Studio 44 project. The rest, in his opinion, "make a depressing impression." It must be said that the projects presented were generally subjected to serious public criticism. Writes about this and "My District". However, none of the concepts was accepted for implementation.

The realizations, which the press are happy to talk about this week, are mainly restoration and restoration work. So, "RIA Novosti" tells about the opening after the restoration of the large hall of Agate Rooms in the State Museum-Reserve "Tsarskoe Selo" near St. Petersburg. And the State TV and Radio Company "Kultura" introduces the results of the restoration of the Italian staircase of the late 18th century by the architect Vincenzo Brenna in Pavlovsk.
