RIA Novosti published an interview with Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. The conversation was primarily devoted to solving the transport problems of the capital: the deputy mayor substantiated the advantage of increasing the capacity of existing roads by expanding them over the construction of new expensive highways, explained why the city needed north-western and north-eastern expressways and promised that soon In time, new dedicated lanes for public transport will appear, and projects for the development of the metro will be completed on time - by 2020. Reconstruction is also awaiting the interchange of the Moscow Ring Road.
Marat Khusnullin also said that reconstruction of old quarters and redevelopment of industrial zones are planned within the Moscow Ring Road. In particular, a decision has already been made to develop the Verkhniye Kotly industrial zone near the Nagatinskaya metro station and the territory of the Big City, the development of which will go towards the Moskva River and up to the Moscow Ring Road. In addition, Marat Khusnullin named the points of development of new territories of the capital agreed with the leadership of the Moscow region: today they are Molzhaninovo, Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye, Skolkovo, Vnukovo Airport with all adjacent territories, Nekrasovka, Troitsk, Ostafyevo airport and Kommunarka.

The British studio LDA Design, which is working on the concept of the park's development, spoke about how it plans to change the appearance of embankments and parking lots. According to the British project, the embankment will become the main center of attraction for the park: in particular, there will be permanent river tram routes. The lack of parking is proposed to be solved not by radical methods of large-scale construction of underground parking lots (although this option is also being considered), but by searching for an alternative to the car. “There is green transport, bicycles, public transport, you can finally come on foot,” says one of the project's architects, Andrew Harland.

The idea of locating a park there is becoming less and less likely, but what can replace it? The answer to this question is what Revzin is looking for.
