The International Financial Center is located on the border of the Umraniye working district, which appeared in the middle of the last century, and the new residential area of Atasehir. The total area of 4.2 million m2 will be divided between office buildings, a conference center for 2,000 delegates, a hotel, shops and restaurants, as well as residential buildings for 30 thousand people with schools and mosques. The podium will contain infrastructure facilities - “green” electricity and water supply systems and information networks, and a park will cover it from above. Daytime "population" of the complex is planned in the region of 100 thousand people.
The construction of the MFC is planned to be completed in 2016.
