The Saint-Gobain company forms a new approach to solving architectural and design problems: it promotes the idea of “green” construction, creates projects that have a minimum impact on the environment, focused on saving energy resources and ensuring maximum comfort for residents. In order to attract future architects and construction industry professionals to solve these problems and form their environmentally responsible thinking, the company holds an annual competition "Designing a Multi-Comfort House ISOVER - 2014" for students of architecture and construction universities.

This year, the participants of the competition were invited to develop a concept and project of a modern energy efficient school in the city of Gaziantep (Turkey). The educational institution is intended for children from 6 to 10 years old and is designed for 400 - 600 students. The peculiarities of the project for the ecological development of the city developed by the Gaziantep Municipality should be taken into account.

Students of architecture and construction universities from 1 to 6 courses from any region of Russia can take part in the competition. Both individual and team (up to 3 people) works are accepted. One team can submit no more than one project to the competition. A mandatory criterion is the use of energy-efficient materials ISOVER in the project. The jury will evaluate the project and functional concept as well as the sustainability approach in terms of economic, environmental and social aspects.

ISOVER-2014 Multi-Comfort Home Design Contest consists of national and international stages. At the same time, semi-finals will be held in large regions of Russia, the winners of which will present their projects at the national stage of the competition in March 2014 in Moscow.

The teams that take 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the international final will receive not only invaluable experience, but also a cash prize of € 1,500, € 1,000 and € 750, respectively.

Detailed information on the conditions of the competition, timing, application procedure, evaluation criteria and other important data is presented here.
