With the aim of preserving the environment and energy saving, Saint-Gobain develops and implements energy efficient projects of residential buildings and office centers, which are designed to minimize the burden on nature and create the most comfortable living environment. Within the framework of the international student competition in 2014, the company gives the opportunity to students of architecture and construction universities to design an energy efficient school based on the concept of "ISOVER Multi-Comfort Home".
The creative task proposed to the participants in 2014 was the development of a school project for 400-600 students aged 6 to 10 for the Turkish city of Gaziantep. A professional jury will evaluate each project in terms of revealing its functional concept, economic, environmental and social aspects.
Every year the competition "Designing an ISOVER Multi-Comfort House" is gaining momentum. In 2014, compared to 2012, the number of representatives from Russia increased almost 11 times from 27 to 291 participants.
The competition "Designing the ISOVER-2014 Multi-Comfort House" is held in two stages: national and international. After the semi-finals in the regions of Russia, the winners will present their projects at the national stage of the competition in Moscow in April 2014. The teams that took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the international final, in addition to invaluable experience, will receive a cash prize of € 1,500, € 1,000 and € 750, respectively, and will represent the country already at the international final of the competition.
