GRADAS is once again holding an annual competition for the development of facade and interior conceptual solutions. We invite everyone who is ready to offer extraordinary, stylish versions of GRADAS products to take part: architects, designers, students of specialized universities.
Conditions of the competition:
Works are presented in the following nominations:
Design without borders
Development of the facade concept using volumetric metal cassettes invented by the competitor. Community center, sports center, school, shopping or business center, etc. The designation of the building is at the discretion of the competitor.
Interior IDEA
Development of an interior concept using decorative metal elements. Private house, apartment, restaurant, theater, airport, etc. Appointment of premises at the discretion of the competitor.
High design
Development of the concept of a ceiling in the interior, using metal cassettes as cladding, the shape and type of which is invented by the competitor. Appointment of premises at the discretion of the competitor.
Works are accepted in electronic form in jpg, pdf, tiff formats at [email protected].
ATTENTION! When considering competitive works, the uniqueness of the developed cassettes (panels) is primarily assessed. Only your designs are accepted for the competition! Works taken from free sources, from completed projects, design projects or other contestants will not be accepted for the competition.
Violators will be expelled with no right to appeal.
Prize fund for each nomination
I PLACE
The winner receives a cash reward of 50,000 rubles *, a participant's diploma and an offer for further cooperation.
II PLACE
The winner receives a cash reward of 35,000 rubles *, a participant's diploma and an offer for further cooperation.
III PLACE
The winner receives a cash reward of 20,000 rubles * and a participant's diploma.
The registration fee will not be charged from the participants of the competition. Please read the rules of the competition.
Deadlines for submitting applications for participation and stages of the competition
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until 2019-15-03.
Stage 1: Submission of materials for the competition until 2019-29-03.
Stage 2: According to the results of stage 1, all those who passed to the second round need to until 2019-12-04 provide a design layout with adaptation for a specific object, as well as a description of the provided project.
Requirements for the project
The project should include:
• a completed application form for the statement of authorship indicating the names and contacts of the participant or participants (the questionnaire is provided by the participant in any form);
• a brief description of the idea of the project submitted to the competition;
• visualization of the proposed work in electronic form - a sketch in any convenient format (3D, drawing in a graphics program or just a scanned sketch).
Materials used and technological operations that must be taken into account when creating a concept
Materials:
- painted and / or stainless steel;
- painted and / or anodized aluminum;
- pure and / or patinated copper;
- titanium-zinc.
Used types of metal processing:
- perforation;
- laser cutting;
- bullet;
- flexible;
- rolling.
- It is allowed to use architectural lighting to accentuate architectural solutions.
