TATPROF took part in the construction of three Olympic facilities: the Sanki luge and bobsleigh track, the Laura ski and biathlon complex and the Big Ice Arena Olympic stadium.

The bobsleigh track in Krasnaya Polyana is considered one of the most technically difficult Olympic facilities, and TATPROF has developed for it a system of aluminum profiles for glazing a protective canopy, which is located along the entire route. The glazing area of this object is 3.8 thousand m2.

For the ski and biathlon complex, the company acted as a supplier of a system of sun-protection slats and facade systems with a total glazing area of 4.8 thousand m2… The Big Ice Arena is a unique architectural complex of its kind due to its complex elliptical shape. The main plastic accent of the object is a combination of anodized metal surfaces, shimmering in the sun, with a golden platinum color and glass surfaces reflecting the surroundings of the stained-glass window. The contours of the stained-glass window of the foyer are made taking into account the orientation of the building towards the Olympic Park square and the sea. TATPROF managed to develop a solution for the implementation of the structural design of the dome - the roof of the stadium.

According to the company, the terms of reference of the tenders indicated the minimum technical requirements for complex engineering products, which made it possible for suppliers to offer various options for materials in design solutions. Since all objects had technical difficulties (construction in an earthquake-prone area), this created additional loads on the structures and reduced their bearing capacity. The organizers of the tenders had to pay special attention to the quality characteristics of the material. Obtaining an expert opinion on the possibility of using TATPROF systems in an earthquake-prone area confirms the ability of extrusion workers to fulfill the most complex technical orders.
