In the Chekhovsky district of the Moscow region, a two-story energy-efficient house is being built. Thanks to the use of ISOVER mineral wool insulation, the installation of energy-saving double-glazed windows, an air recovery system and a heat pump, it is planned that the house will consume no more than 45 kWh / (m2· Year), according to the methodology of the Passive House Institute PHPP 2007. For comparison, in low-rise buildings, the consumption of heat energy for heating during the heating period is 150 - 300 kWh / m2year (at a rate of 95 - 195 kW ∙ h / m2year).

Two facades of the building will be insulated using a ventilated facade system. For this, Inter Stroy LLC chose mineral wool insulation ISOVER VentFasad Optima: λB = 0.037 W / (m · ° С), 360 mm thick in total and material ISOVER VentFasad Top (30 mm), λB of which is 0.037 W / (m ° C). Two more facades will be made according to the plaster insulation system using the material ISOVER Plaster Facade: λB = 0.043 W / (m · ° C). The total thickness of the insulating layer will be 400mm. For the insulation of the pitched roof, the material of the same name ISOVER PitchedRoof will be used: λB = 0.043 W / (m · ° С) 500mm. “This object is very interesting because it will use two different insulation systems using ISOVER products. This will allow achieving the set goals for energy consumption, reducing heat losses through the enclosing structures, - comments Kirill Paramonov, specialist in energy efficiency in construction, ISOVER. - Energy efficient windows on the object are placed taking into account the orientation to the cardinal points to achieve an optimal balance. The selected structure made of monolithic reinforced concrete allows minimizing the cost of air conditioning in the summer. The service life of such a building will be more than 100 years - not a single generation will be able to appreciate the comfort of living in this energy efficient house."

At the moment, the underground part of the building is being waterproofed and the load-bearing walls of the second floor are being erected, and facades will be insulated soon.
