To create an attractive and functional facade of the school, the architects used the complete system AQUAPANEL® Outer wall. Facade system AQUAPANEL® The external wall from the KNAUF company is a frame sheathing external wall with an air gap with the fastening of the external sheathing plates to an additional lathing installed on the supporting frame. The system includes specially selected components: AQUAPANEL® Cement slab Outside, accessories for outdoor decoration, KNAUF thermal insulation materials, Knauf sheet materials for interior cladding, joint sealants and various finishing options.
The rounded corners of the building, according to the concept of the authors of the project, provide injury safety for children, and the color set of exterior finishing tiles, specific for each class, acts as a “reference point”. “We needed a reliable, non-flammable and moisture-resistant tile base that could be bent with a small radius and screwed onto a timber frame,” says architect Adam Cossi, “AQUAPANEL® became the ideal base for cladding. Due to its properties, it is resistant to moisture (does not lose its shape, does not swell and does not depend on the freeze-thaw cycle), which ensures the reliability of fastening the decorative coating. In addition, it is a very easy-to-use material that does not require special tools and special technologies."
Thanks to the reinforcing fiberglass mesh in the body of the AQUAPANEL slab® The cement board is capable of bending, which allows it to be widely used for facing uneven curved substrates and greatly facilitates installation. Bending radius for a width of 900 mm> 3 m, for a width of 300 mm> 1 m.

The residential complex of 12 townhouses received The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards - the UK housing award. Low-budget two-storey residential houses on a wooden frame with a sloping roof, traditional for these places, have a modern, convenient layout that provides maximum light and air to each room. The facades are finished with wooden battens and stucco in pastel colors, the color of which is individual for each house. The complex was erected in just 35 weeks largely thanks to the use of the AQUAPANEL facade system® The outer wall and the support of the Knauf company in the design and construction process. General contractor Dorset Dry Lining (DDL) is clearly impressed: “This is the first time we have used AQUAPANEL® The exterior wall replaced traditional materials, and the installation went surprisingly quickly and smoothly. We are very pleased with the result and intend to use this product at our facilities in the future."
AQUAPANEL® Cement slab Outside, used in the facade system, is widely used in low-rise frame housing construction, as well as in the cladding of balconies and loggias, the device of door and window slopes, in landscape design, in the insulation of facades.

The residential twenty-storey tower on the banks of the Weser River, which is part of the Weserufer complex, is one of the tallest buildings in Bremen (67 m). Taking into account the specifics of the place (high humidity, fog, condensation, the need for maximum protection against noise), and the size of the building (increased requirements for strength and wind resistance), AQUAPANEL was used for the construction of facades.® Outer wall. Plates AQUAPANEL®which are part of the system are 12.5 mm thick and form a solid and dry base that is not subject to extreme weather conditions. Flexural and impact resistance of AQUAPANEL material® The cement slab allows it to be used as part of a facade system, as a cladding for high-rise buildings, and its low weight contributes to the simplicity and high speed of installation: the building was fully erected in just 20 months. In addition to the complete system KNAUF AQUAPANEL® Outside wall profiles of different types were used in the project, including for the installation of windows, as well as topcoats.
