Fire resistance of the facade - to the maximum
The fire protection system alt=F50 FR allows you to create facades that can withstand a flame for 15, 30 or 60 minutes, maintaining integrity, providing the necessary thermal insulation and limiting heat transfer.
In addition, profiles and accessories alt=F50 FR can be used to create internal translucent structures with fire resistance EIW 15 and 45: partitions for dividing premises for different purposes, partitions on escape routes, glazing of atriums, lift shafts and staircases.
Integrity in all circumstances
Competent design solutions ensure high fire safety rates for facades, partitions and glazing based on alt=F50 FR. So, for additional reinforcement of racks and crossbars, new amplifier profiles have been developed, providing for the installation of special fireproof inserts.
Special accessories allow structures from the alt=F50 FR system to hold back fire for a long period of time. Washers made of stainless steel additionally fix the clamping strips and prevent the filling from falling out. Thermo-sealing tapes provide reliable sealing of the double-glazed window fold. Support pads made of stainless steel and wood straightening pads, impregnated with a special flame retardant compound, guarantee the integrity of the filling
ALT FR76. Doors and partitions against flames
Partitions of any configuration, coplanar external opening doors with one or two leaves, as well as single and double-leaf doors with perimeter strapping and drop-down threshold can be made from the profile and accessories of the alt=FR76 system.
The set of glazing beads of the original form provided in the system allows to reduce the time for installation of structures. With their help, filling up to 48 mm thick is mounted under steel clips without milling.
Universal steel reinforcements also do not require processing and are conveniently attached to all types of profiles and system nodes. The installation of the lock takes place without milling the profile.
Double efficiency in resisting fire and smoke
Due to the use of special fire protection inserts, the fire resistance of structures from alt=FR76 can be increased to 45 or 60 minutes. Without the use of these inserts, doors and partitions from the elements of this system hold back fire for up to 30 minutes. In comparison, conventional sheet steel doors burn out and leave the frame less than 20 minutes after the start of a fire.
ALUTECH engineers have developed a unique five-chamber profile especially for the new system. Structures made of it have the same fire resistance both on the outside and on the inside, which means they resist fire twice as effectively.
Protection of doors and partitions made from alt=FR76 from delamination and destruction caused by melting of aluminum or plastic is provided by special steel clips and corner connectors. Wood linings impregnated with a fire retardant allow to prevent the displacement of the filling and the appearance of gaps.
The door constructions alt=FR76 are additionally secured by fire protection strips. When the door is closed, the pins of the linings enter the grooves on the door frame, so that the door remains closed if the hinges burn out.
The protection of the room from smoke and hot gases is ensured by the use of heat-sealing tape. When exposed to high temperatures, it foams and closes gaps through which flames, smoke or hot gases can penetrate.
