This work by 3XN will mark the first major project by Danish architects in Australia since the theater was completed in 1973. The 200-meter tower will begin to be erected in the harbor opposite the famous building of Jorn Utson in 2018, and it will "enter into dialogue" with the more famous "neighbor", as well as with other high-rise buildings in Sydney.
In order for most of the inhabitants of the office skyscraper to get spectacular views of the bay and the theater, the authors of the project composed their building from a series of volumes shifted relative to each other: as a result, the northern facade turns to the east with increasing height. This will also provide self-shadowing on this side of the building, protecting it from the very bright afternoon sun.
Terraces will be arranged between the blocks that make up the tower, where employees of the tenant companies can relax and exchange knowledge. In addition, atriums and other common areas are provided to encourage their contact with each other.
