One of the leaders in the production of materials for "dry construction" is the KNAUF company, which offers its complete systems on the domestic market, which, with a small financial investment, allow solving the most complex problems of interior decoration. In the last decade, the use of Knauf-superlists in various fields has become more and more widespread.
Knauf-superlist (gypsum fiber sheet, gypsum fiber board) is a high-quality, environmentally friendly material produced by pressing a mixture of gypsum binder and fluff pulp fibers evenly distributed throughout the entire volume of the sheet. The front surface of the sheets is sanded and treated with an anti-chalking impregnation. Depending on the properties and field of application, they are divided into ordinary (GVL) and moisture resistant (GVLV) sheets. GVL are used in rooms with dry and normal humidity conditions, GVLV - in buildings and rooms with dry, normal and humid humidity conditions in accordance with SNiP 23-02-2003.
Knauf superlists are produced in large format 2500x1200 mm thick 10 and 12.5 mm, small format - 1200x1200 mm thick 10 and 12.5 mm, as well as in the format of floor elements (EP) 1200x600 mm thick 20 mm. According to the shape of the longitudinal edges, Knauf-super-sheets are divided into sheets with a straight edge (PC) and sheets with a folded edge (FK). The end edges of all sheets are rectangular. Sheets with a straight longitudinal edge are intended for the construction of prefabricated bases of the Knauf floor. For cladding frame structures (partitions, facings, suspended ceilings, attics structures), sheets with a folded longitudinal edge are used.
Gypsum fiber sheet is distinguished by a combination of high fire-technical, strength, and sound-insulating characteristics that meet the requirements for sheet finishing materials. This material is used for wall cladding, when installing interior partitions, suspended ceilings, prefabricated floor bases, finishing attic rooms, fire protection of load-bearing structures (beams, columns).
Structures using KNAUF superlists have a higher airborne sound insulation index due to the significant density of the sheets, which also provides excellent surface vandal resistance.
Knauf-superlists are materials of the KM1 class (fire hazard class of building materials), which allows them to be successfully used in almost any premises in accordance with fire safety requirements. Moreover, Knauf Superlist fire retardant linings are one of the most effective and inexpensive ways to protect metal beams and columns from fire.
One of the most popular applications for Knauf superlists is the construction of the KNAUF superfloor prefabricated dry sub-floor, developed by Knauf more than 20 years ago. The basis of this technology is floor elements (EP) made of moisture-resistant gypsum-fiber Knauf-superlists (GVLV). Floor elements are two sheets of GVLV glued together at the factory with dimensions of 1200x600x10 mm. Laying these elements on a different basis makes it possible to solve the sometimes difficult task of creating a dry, durable, even, quiet and durable floor in the shortest possible time.
Such a variety of areas of use of Knauf superlists is due to the excellent properties and quality of products. Professionals do not in vain highly value this material for its ease of use and high results.
