The award was received by the team of authors of the Studio 44 architectural bureau. The building of the academy harmoniously blended into the old city on the Petrograd side. This is not only a successful project in terms of urban planning, but also a prestigious educational institution for the training of ballet dancers from children from all regions of Russia.
Slavdom supplied the building with materials for facade cladding and interior design from the Wienerberger concern. These are Terca Tuohi light cladding bricks from the Finnish Wienerberger plant, as well as Weber Vetonit masonry mortar, Bever anchors, brackets and BAUT brick lintel systems.
The light shade of Tuohi brick gives the building a lightness and airiness. The famous QR code wall and the interior of the academy are also made of this brick, which once again confirms the versatility of this traditional building material. Complex design solutions for the façade and interior were implemented with the help of innovative BAUT products: hanging brackets and brick lintel systems.
