The next World Architecture Festival - WAF-2015 - will be held from 4 to 6 November in Singapore. This year, 338 projects from 46 countries of the world were shortlisted for his award. They are divided into 31 typological categories and three more basic sections: completed projects, "future projects" and landscape. Since 2012, when the WAF moved from Barcelona to Singapore, there has been a significant increase in the number of Australian architects among its members, but Australia's leadership is new, albeit understandable. The festival is organized by the British publishing house Emap, and this year the WAF shortlist was even presented at a special event in London from June 24 to 27, so the second place taken by the British is also understandable. It is more difficult to find a reason for the activity of Turkish architects: perhaps they will soon occupy a more prominent place on the world architectural scene - or would like to occupy it.
We present to our readers a selection of the most interesting projects of the WAF-2015 shortlist. The entire "short list" can be viewed in full here.
