JLLC AluminTechno is an enterprise that is part of the ALUTECH Group of Companies and is one of the largest plants in the CIS for the production of extruded aluminum profiles, powder painting and anodizing.
The trends in the development of the market for translucent structures indicate that the use of aluminum facade systems, according to our estimates, in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine will gradually grow, and for more than a decade.
The main directions in facade glazing are the tightening of the parameters of heating technology and the use of more dimensional fillings. This trend was outlined five years ago. In this regard, we have developed solutions to improve the thermal characteristics of facade and window-door systems, increased the maximum dimensions of the sashes and the permissible weight of the filling installed in the structure.
The development of the market for translucent structures in the CIS is distinguished by the fact that façade systems that provide greater efficiency during installation have begun to be used more often. By the way, the classic
the facade post-transom system has recently given way to element facades and other solutions at the facilities. A new trend is the assembly and glazing of some types of facades not from the outside, but from the floors, without the use of scaffolding.
Such facade technologies are being used more and more widely due to the persistence of investors who are interested in completing the construction of the facility as soon as possible and getting a building ready for use. Despite the fact that today there are no alternatives for the mullion-transom system for glazing facades, in practice, similar substitute systems are increasingly being used. For example, for high-rise construction, the element facade has become the most acceptable option. For objects where the price factor is decisive, we are ready to offer another facade solution - a post-transom system with installation and glazing from the inside of the room.
Other trends include different types of sun protection slats. Similar solutions are now used not only in countries with hot climates, but also in our latitudes.
Another interesting direction is the use of various backlighting options. Architects are showing interest in LED luminaires and other decorative lighting options for façade designs. More and more facilities are being erected where various options for opening facade elements with the use of automation are used.
Thus, if we try to look into the future five years ahead, then in the CIS, translucent facades and roofs, sun-protection slats, and automation equipment for smoke removal and ventilation will be used more. More light, more protection from excessive solar radiation, more safety and comfort - these are the main trends that will be relevant on the SPK market in the next five years and which are already clearly visible today. The facades will also feature various decorative effects, including new color options for profiles and all kinds of lighting modifications.
