Last weekend in the Yasno Pole eco-park was held the first in Russia open-air festival of "green" architecture and technologies "Eco_tektonika". While the capital was celebrating the day of the city, guests came to the natural park on the border of the Moscow and Tula regions along the road washed out by rain from early morning. The program promised to be intense, despite the unfavorable weather conditions. After all, the main goal of the festival is to demonstrate practical capabilities and real technologies in the field of environmentally friendly construction.
Eco-park "Yasno Pole" is, in fact, a project for the integrated development of an area of 500 hectares near the Oka River and the village of Velezhevo. In the future, it is planned to build eco-friendly suburban housing here, provide programs for outdoor activities, healthy eating and creative development. At the same time, Yasno Pole should become an experimental platform for research and implementation of the most advanced technologies of "green" architecture and construction. The Eco_tektonika festival was the start in the process of creating a new eco-park, which is still a green meadow with copses, crossed by a fresh dirt road.
The main action of the festival took place on the shore of a small reservoir. On the central stage, lectures on the topics of sustainable development, eco-construction and eco-development, as well as green building materials were delivered all day without interruption. Master classes and workshops were held in white tents around. Timur Bashkaev held a master class on new aspects of "sustainable" architecture, during which he tried to clearly demonstrate how integrated planning and urban planning solutions can improve the quality of the urban environment, make it more environmentally friendly and comfortable. During the rich lecture program, issues such as eco-tourism, ecological lifestyle and even weeds - such as tasty and healthy food - were also touched upon. The ensuing buffet for guests was replete with examples of eco-cuisine - beautiful, but not entirely edible. A separate program was prepared for the youngest visitors of the festival: children painted, did artistic applique work, built cities out of sand, made wooden crafts.
A little away from the main pavilion, those wishing to stay in the park until the morning set up a camping. In the tents, barbecue was grilled all day, pilaf was cooked and hot coffee was poured. Until the evening, bicycles were rented, which were very popular among visitors, since not every one of them dared to walk around the entire vast territory of the park. And there was something to see. Despite the fact that the Yasno Pole site has just begun to be mastered and for the first time received guests, interesting objects have already appeared on it. For example, Vladimir Kuzmin and the Pole Design bureau erected a “spiky” hedgehog-like portal made of wooden beams, located one and a half kilometers from the main stage.
But the main event of the day was the summing up of the results of the 1st All-Russian competition in the field of "green" architecture and construction "Eco_tektonika". The competition was organized
National Agency for Sustainable Development and aroused great interest. Four times more applications were received than the organizers expected. 180 participants from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries hurried to share their experience in the field of "green" architecture. According to the organizers, a real sociological study was obtained, which gave the most complete picture of the spheres and directions of development of ecological construction in the post-Soviet space, and also proved that this direction is rapidly gaining momentum.
The works were evaluated by absentee voting by the jury, which included Sergey Tsytsin, Valery Nefedov, Snezhana Stoykovich, Alexander Elokhov, Yulia Gracheva and Svetlana Duving. The jury paid the most attention to the architectural and technical quality of the project, adherence to the principles of "sustainable" construction with a focus on the BREEAM standard, as well as the originality of the idea.
The names of the winners were announced by Alexander Andrianov, executive director of NAUR. The protagonist of the ceremony was a representative of RAO Russian Railways, who twice went up on stage for diplomas. The project of the "Motorcar Depot of the Podmoskovnaya Station" of the Russian Railways Company received the highest award - the first place and the Grand Prix of the competition, and also won in the nomination "Public and Commercial Buildings". The second Grand Prix went to Ekaterina Kapanzhi and her 125 m² passive residential building, which became the best in the "Housing" nomination. Interior “
Yandex headquarters, implemented by the Atrium architectural bureau headed by Anton Nadtochim and Vera Butko.
Further awards were presented in separate nominations. So, in the "Housing" section, in addition to Ekaterina Kapanzhi, Igor Chereshnev, associate professor of the Volgograd State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, noted an interesting project of the Ecotube bioclimatic residential module, Roman Leonidov with his already well-known house Hobbit Hall, and the company "Ecodolie Development", which presented to the competition for the energy-efficient economy class "House A ++".
The jury members and organizers of the competition noted that solar panels, wind turbines, rainwater collection systems, energy-efficient thermal insulation, glazing and the use of environmentally friendly materials were most often mentioned in the submitted works. At the same time, such important areas as building automation systems, their correct orientation, heat recovery, heat pumps, etc. were mentioned only in some works. Not to mention the correct logistics of materials in order to minimize CO2 emissions during their transportation to the construction site and take into account the changing climate - these aspects are still practically not taken into account in our country.
In the nomination "Public and commercial buildings" among the winners was a new type of kindergarten in Beloyarsky, created by Anton Lukomsky and the company "City-Arch". The jury also liked the work of Elizaveta Pryazhentseva - the research center for permaculture. Among the open public spaces, the Milk project by the young architect Nikolai Kaloshin from the Pole Design bureau became the best.
As for student projects, of which there were about half of the works submitted for the competition, it was among them that the jury found the most thoughtful and serious works. The students paid special attention to the study of new "green" technologies and offered interesting solutions for their application in construction.
At the end of the event program, the organizers promised that both the festival and the competition would become annual, and Yasno Pole would grow into a real eco-park, where one would like to return again.
