Leader in terms of production and sales of high-strength gypsum in Russia - Samara Gypsum Plant - released a fundamentally new product: Moisture-resistant mixture for the production of facade decorative stone.
To refute the belief that gypsum materials are exclusively used for interior decoration, we, using our experience gained over 70 years of work, have created a gypsum-based product intended for outdoor use. Taking all the best from the two traditional technologies for the production of decorative stone, we have developed an optimal formulation that gives the Mixture exceptional benefits.
The mixture contains high-strength gypsum, white cement, modifying additives and fillers. White cement gives the finished product moisture resistance and frost resistance, ensuring a long service life on the facade. Tests carried out by the SGK research laboratory have proven that the product is made of "Ready dry mix" for the production of facade decorative stone, it can withstand more than 150 freeze-thaw cycles without loss of decorative properties, which is comparable to the performance of cement stone.
Thanks to gypsum, the molding of products from "Ready dry mix" for the production of facade decorative stone is possible within 1 hour after pouring, which is on average 10 times less in comparison with the traditional cement binder for facade stone. This will allow stonemakers to significantly reduce the duration of the technological process and increase productivity, which means that the customer will receive the amount of stone he needs much faster.
And the fact that it is "Ready dry mix", removes from the foreman the task of purchasing, dosing and mixing individual components, which, in addition to increasing productivity by saving time, also reduces the risk of instability in the quality characteristics of the finished product. On an industrial scale, this risk is eliminated thanks to the high-precision German equipment installed at our production site.
