The 5-star W Beijing Chan'an is located at the epicenter of the bustling whirlpool of life in the capital of China, a stone's throw from historic landmarks such as the mysterious Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.

Against the backdrop of the more traditional buildings of the eastern metropolis, this modern building, designed by the international consulting company RTKL, shines like a whimsical cut gem.

The interior of the Starwood boutique hotel, designed by AB Concept design studio, is not inferior to the facade in luxurious individuality. The public area has everything for relaxation, active social and business life: a state-of-the-art fitness center, a luxurious swimming pool, an exclusive spa, a well-equipped office area, a gourmet kitchen and cocktails accompanied by live music in the panoramic lounge.

There are no “regular” rooms at the hotel, ranging from “Great” to “Exceptional Wow” suites. Exclusive furnishings are combined with the latest technology of the highest class. The marble bathrooms are integrated directly into the rooms, while the free-standing baths are complemented by modern fittings from the Dornbracht IMO series. The choice of the designers was not accidental: the mixer taps in this series are ideal for interiors with striking character.

The very name of the series (which stands for “In My Opinion”, that is, “in my opinion”) suggests that the main character is not the mixer itself, but the space and personality of the owner (or, if we are talking about a hotel, a guest). While developing this series, the German design bureau Sieger Design focused on several social and age groups at once, preferring environmental solutions that are often opposite to each other.

The clean lines and minimalism of the IMO series make it possible to integrate it into interiors of any style. In an expressive setting, IMO mixers become an organic part of the overall architecture, freeing up space for self-expression.
