The post-transom system alt=" F50 is a classic in the world of glass architecture. The system includes 50 mm wide posts and ledgers. Due to the fact that the aluminum frame looks organic and is almost invisible, the facades created with its help fascinate with brilliance and seeming lightness. From the inside, buildings with translucent facades alt=" F50 are filled with light: nothing prevents it from playing with glare on the glass and getting inside the room.
In order not to hide, but, on the contrary, to highlight the visible elements of the facade structure, for the alt=F50 system profile, you can choose a conceptual color from the RAL collection. Invisible support
For the construction of facades with a "crystal" surface, on which no fasteners are visible, the alt=" F50 SG profile system is used.
Structural facades alt=F50 SG are made of insulating glass units with a U-profile and a secondary structural silicone sealant. Opaque areas can be made from sheets of composite materials, aluminum or stainless steel.
The presence of angular clamping elements in the alt=F50 SG system opens up possibilities for the implementation of projects of impressive complexity with corner, bay windows and inclined structures.
The fastening of the clamping bar and two screws ensures reliable fixation of the filling and protects it from unintentional falling out. And with the help of safety elements supporting the outer glass, on the basis of the alt=F50 SG system, facades are created, the glazing of which will not be damaged even in a hurricane or an earthquake. And this despite the fact that the filling mass can be up to 400 kg with a glass thickness of up to 14 mm.

Geometric fantasy
When the semi-structural glazing systems alt=" F50 SSG and alt=" F50 HL come into play, dynamics and accents appear in the architecture of glass buildings.
Facades alt=" F50 SSG differ from constructions made of classic profiles alt=" F50 in the lower thickness of the outer clamping strips. The neat thin planks used in this modification of the popular system simulate a structural seam.
However, its main advantage is the simplified assembly of integrated windows into a semi-structural façade. The symmetrical clamping bar does not require cutting at the desired angle, thereby reducing the labor intensity of installation work. And the windows themselves are delivered fully assembled: the fittings do not need to be installed and adjusted on site.
The abbreviation HL in the name of another type of facade system alt=" F50 stands for Horizontal Line, that is, "Horizontal line". It uses masking strips, which visually highlight one of the directions of pressing the glass unit and add horizontal volume to the facade. In this case, the clamping bar can have either a standard thickness of 50 mm, or a reduced one - 38 mm.
As a vertical filling in constructions made from alt=F50 HL, a seal can be used, which is installed in the groove of the thermal bridge. In addition, the system allows hinged windows to be built into the facade, which increase the functionality of the structure without violating the integrity of its appearance.
