Football stadium "Zenith" was built on Krestovsky Island, on the site of the dismantled stadium named after S. M. Kirov - an architectural monument of federal significance.

There are other sports facilities in the park where the stadium is located: a cycle track, a basketball center, a yacht and rowing club, a martial arts center, tennis courts, and more.

The concept of the stadium is based on the idea of a landing UFO ship. The large-scale dome of the arena rests on match 8 and forms the image of a sailing ship, harmoniously blending an unearthly object into the surrounding seascape. One of the stadium's recognizable features is the combination of preserved historical elements (pavilions, stairs, fountain) and high-tech solutions - a roll-out field and a sliding roof. The round roof of the stadium with a diameter of about 300 meters was designed as a combination of a fixed roof with a ceiling light directly above the pitch and a transformable roof with a membrane structure.

The field, measuring 120 by 80 meters, will be moved by a system of electric motors, preliminarily raised with the help of forced air. During football matches, the field will be located inside the stadium bowl, and during concerts, exhibitions and competitions in other sports, it will be located outside the stadium. The time required to move the field and all the accompanying procedures will be about 6 hours. Thus, St. Petersburg will receive a multifunctional sports and concert complex.

The technology will complement the pitch with a retractable roof, which will provide sunlight on days when the football field is inside the stadium. In addition, according to FIFA regulations, matches must be held in the open air. The sliding segment will satisfy this requirement and provide a comfortable stay for visitors to the arena in the winter, during which the roof will be closed. The translucent film used to cover the sliding part of the dome, in addition to its main purpose - to protect the stadium from precipitation and retain heat - can be used to project images.

The purpose of the zones and premises will change: the zones for the media, security services and the area of the lobbies for the free presence of the public will decrease, the public catering area will be partially given over to trade. In sector A, a VIP lounge with a view of the pitch was designed and planning solutions were developed to transform the VIP lounge in FIFA mode in the spectators 'lobby in the lower tier and in the area with commentators' booths in the Legacy mode. Temporary seats for spectators above +14.550 are dismantled. The access scheme for spectators and transport, the purpose of parking lots and areas around the stadium will change.

The fastening to the uprights is carried out overlapping This solution allows the production of stained-glass windows in vertical and inclined design, one- and two-pitch translucent coverings. The width of the front surface of the profiles is 50 mm. The height of the cross-section of the posts is from 56 to 240 mm, the crossbars are from 34 to 169 mm. The filling used: dull and translucent, from 4 to 50 mm thick. Facade series TP-50300 allows the production of stained-glass windows with a turn of the crossbar in the horizontal plane at different angles (internal, external) using only one rack.

The presence of a compensator rack to compensate for thermal expansion in the horizontal plane of the stained-glass structures. All door and sash designs of the TATPROF system with pivot, tilt and turn-tilt fittings can be easily built into the TP-50300 facade series.

The following designs are manufactured on the basis of the TP-50300 series:

  • facade with structural glazing;
  • facade with imitation of structural glazing.

Openable parts - reinforced window and door series - TPT-65.

The structural width of the profiles is 65 mm. Double-glazed windows from 24 to 44 mm are used as translucent filling. according to GOST 24866-99 with the obligatory installation of support pads. Direct contact of glass with aluminum parts is not allowed.

  • windows, stained glass sashes
  • stained glass structures
  • strip glazing

Warm series TPT-65 is made of combined profiles with thermal break. A polyamide thermal bridge with a width of 20 mm in door profiles and 27 mm in window profiles is used. The technical solutions used in the TPT-65 series make it possible to speed up and simplify the assembly and installation process, and expand the design capabilities of the system. Fittings of famous world brands are used for Europaz 0.1.

The structural width of the profiles is 71-97 mm. Glass and glass units are used as translucent filling, including structural design from 6 to 32 mm. according to GOST 24866-99 with the obligatory installation of support pads.

Roof - in agreement with the Spanish developer, profiles and seals for roofs with a membrane covering were mastered. The system consists of pneumatic polymeric cushion membranes enclosed in aluminum profiles and supported by a lightweight supporting frame.
