At the upcoming international exhibition MosBuild 2019, which will be held from 2 to 5 April in Moscow (IEC Crocus Expo), the LAMINAM Rus plant is preparing to present new collections. The creative concept of the stand was developed by the CITIZENSTUDIO architectural group.
About the stand (D 153, Pavilion 1, hall 4)
This is how the architects themselves, Mikhail Beilin and Daniil Nikishin, describe the idea: “The stand of the LAMINAM company carries the image of a single integral sculpture, refers to ancient megalithic sculptures. 32 pylons of different heights, placed around the main circular square, create the image of an ancient sundial. Passing through a kind of portal to the main square, the viewer sees a comprehensive picture - a fan of megaliths. The effect of the visibility of all elements from one point is also important from a purely practical point of view - one of the sides of each pylon reflects one or another material. Thus, standing in the "main square", the viewer gets a complete picture of the production. " Traveling around the world of the stand resembles an exciting game of hide and seek among the rocks.
About new collections
Black and white cinema, iconic rib, brutal concrete, rustic and cement plaster - all these ideas can now be embodied using the new Rigato and Cementi 2019 collections from LAMINAM, designed and created in Russia.
The interpretation of textures, combining several completely different directions at once, combines the drive of modern industrial design with the elegance and nobility of palace halls.
LAMINAM has managed to translate into large-format ceramics new ideas that reign on the catwalks of fashion houses and are dedicated to conceptual architecture.
The Ossido and Seta collections, which have become classics in the brand's line, along with the legendary Oxide collection, have also been replenished with new products with the Lux surface, exclusively launched in production in Russia.
The textures Diamond Cream Bocciardato, Nero Greco Bocciardato, Bianco Lasa Bocciardato, Noir Desir Bocciardato, Orobico Grigio and Pietra Gray Bocciardato, previously produced only in Italy, have now joined the production line in the Kaluga region.
Rigato
The vertical stripe is the leitmotif of the collection. The corrugated, corduroy-like directional pattern is responsible for the graphic and elegant appearance of the space. The preferred black and white stripe as the main guiding line of harmony and rigor will complement and emphasize any architectural look.
Cementi
The minimalism of clear strokes and the principle of simplicity are the basic elements of the new collection, which was created for progressive natures with an independent outlook on life.
A stylish timeless solution based on decorative plaster and the effect of concrete walls in a discreet Scandinavian range: matte, natural, textured.
Business program
As part of the business activity at the exhibition, LAMINAM takes part in two intriguing special projects at once. On the eve of the main event, the LAMINAM team implemented a program of regional tours to St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk.
The first is the architectural project of Boris Uborevich-Borovsky - PERFECT HOME. LAMINAM will be presented in this project with Bianco Statuario Venato textures from the collection
I Naturali Marmi and Calce Nero, Calce Antracite, Oxide Moro.
Diana Balashova's virtual project VR SPACE is a virtual house where visitors, thanks to VR technologies, can realize their creative potential. For this project, LAMINAM offered textures Travertino Navona Bocciardato, Ossidiana Vena Chiara.

The first in Russia plant of the Italian brand LAMINAM was opened in 2017 and is located in the Vorsino Industrial Park, Kaluga Region. Here the company produces large-format ceramic slabs 1000 x 3000 in size and from 3.5 mm to 5.6 mm thick. Now Italy has become even closer.

The creative group "GOROZHANE / CITIZENSTUDIO" was founded by architects Mikhail Beilin and Daniil Nikishin in 2010. Since that moment, the creative group has implemented several projects: reconstruction of the halva workshop at the Rot Front plant for the premises of the GLAZ photo gallery, the Moskomarkhitektura exhibition pavilion, the Kaluga Region Tourist Information Center in Kaluga, the exposition of the Station Russia Pavilion in Venice, Italy. And also, the Kinetic Art Object “Football Screen“Coca-Cola”in Gorky Park, Moscow.
The group became the winner and laureate of international and Russian architectural competitions.
