On May 14, 2019, GRAPHISOFT announced ARCHICAD 23. The main object symbolizing the new version was the project, the architectural concept of which was developed by the Russian Bureau Pride.
“Irina Viner-Usmanova's Rhythmic Gymnastics Center is a truly ambitious project both in terms of realizing the visual appearance of the building and in applying the most modern approach to design. The project incorporated complex technological solutions and at the same time presented incredibly graceful facade forms, - comments the head of the Russian representative office of GRAPHISOFT Yegor Kudrikov. - A lot of work has been done by a team of highly qualified design specialists - and as a result we have an object that symbolizes a new round of BIM development in our country."
“Of course, we are glad that the project of our bureau was chosen mainly for the visual image of the new version of ARCHICAD, because in this program the entire architectural part of the object was implemented. However, it is equally important that the Russian project has become the personification of the new version of the leading BIM solution. This suggests that we have already reached a significant level of maturity in the application of BIM technologies and are confidently moving in the right direction,” - noted the managing partner of the Pride bureau Nikolay Gordyushin.
The project of the Irina Viner-Usmanova Rhythmic Gymnastics Center became the winner of the BIM Technologies 2016 competition in the BIM project: sports facilities nomination and is one of the first successful Russian examples of the OPEN BIM approach in design. Data exchange between software platforms was carried out using the IFC open format developed by buildingSMART (International Alliance for Interoperability, IAI) to optimize communication in the construction industry.
In 2019, at the international forum "Aluminum in Architecture and Construction 2019" (Alum Forum), he was awarded The Grand Prix as the best aluminum project.
The authors of the project are the Chief Architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov, and the managing partner of the Pride bureau, Nikolai Gordyushin.
