As part of the Zodchestvo 2016 festival, the winners of the Comprehension architectural competition, organized by the Evolution school with the support of the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Moscow Architects, were awarded. The participants were asked to develop the concept of typical socially significant objects - schools and kindergartens. In their projects, the contestants - practicing architects and students - had to find new planning solutions that would increase the efficiency of the educational process.
A prerequisite for the competition was the use of BENPAN technology in the project. In addition, the bids were to be aimed at further elaboration to be included in the standard building standards. The customer of the competition was the Mobil Stroy XXI company.
A total of 25 works were presented to the jury, among which 17 were in the nomination "Kindergarten for 125 places", 8 - in the nomination "Secondary school for 750 places". In addition to the three main awards in each category, the jury awarded four kindergarten projects and one school project with special diplomas. The presentation of the awards took place on the opening day of "Zodchestvo" in the hall of the "Evolution" architectural school, the exposition of which included all the competitive works of "Comprehension".
