In 2011, the Moscow government announced the launch of a program for the development of the Moscow metro, under which 78 new stations are planned by 2020. Five objects were opened last year. At the beginning of 2017, the stations "Minskaya", "Lomonosovskiy Prospekt" and "Ramenki" were completed, which continued the section of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line, the longest in Moscow, towards the south-west. All three new stations of the Solntsevsky radius are connected with the recently opened TPU Delovoy Tsentr. Also, two more stations are under construction on Michurinsky Prospekt - Michurinsky Prospekt and Ochakovo, which will open at the intersection with Lobachevsky and Nikulinskaya streets, respectively. In the future, in accordance with the project for the development of the Moscow metro, the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line will be extended further - to the areas of Solntsevo and Novo-Peredelkino.

The project was developed by the architects of the Metrogiprotrans company under the leadership of Leonid Borzenkov, which is the same for all the stations under consideration, with the exception of the Delovoy Tsentr. It is based on a general design solution typical for shallow lines: two-span column-type stations with straight island platforms. The interiors are designed within the framework of a typical project, where the dominant role is assigned to wide trapezoidal columns. The individual character is set by the graphic plots applied to the edges of the columns and fragments of the walls in the metro lobbies. Each station is associated with a separate and characterizing theme - history, science, nature. Another unifying element is the numerous metal surfaces present both on the walls and on the ceiling of the lobbies and the train arrivals area.

Metal ceiling, wall and facade systems are manufactured and supplied by the company "ASP-Technology", part of the Russian production association Albes. The production of the company is based in the city of Vidnoe. ASP-Technology specializes in the production of high-tech aluminum and steel products manufactured by cold rolling from sheet metal - in particular, systems of enclosing and ceiling structures with increased operational requirements.

The new station of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line was built on the section between the Victory Park and the Matveevsky forest. Its bright entrance pavilions are located on both sides of Minskaya Street, near the railway tracks of the Kiev direction and the exit to Starovolynskaya Street. "Minskaya" is a shallow station. Its depth is 25 meters. The main lobby is connected to the metro exits by a long underground pedestrian crossing and stairs. The second lobby is planned to be used as an emergency exit.

The architectural concept is dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, which is due to the location of the station next to the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and the Victory Memorial Park. Hence, themed panels decorating the walls of the vestibules and the columns of the platform section, as well as the symbolic combination of red and black. The images show fragments of a long-range gun from the Krasnaya Gorka fort near Kronstadt. Large red numbers indicate the years of the beginning and end of the war. The drawings on the columns and walls are covered with anti-vandal tempered glass and are illuminated from the inside, which makes the images appear three-dimensional.

The heavy theme of the war is supported by the choice of finishing materials - strict and noble. The gray floor is paved with large slabs of Siberian granite. The walls, ceiling and the edges of the columns free from images of military equipment are covered with black and and silver metal panels. All ceiling and wall slabs were supplied by ASP-Technology. In the interior decoration of the station, predominantly three-layer aluminum panels with honeycomb filling PERFATEN ALCORE were used together with a metal slatted ceiling system. Perforated aluminum ceiling panels PERFATEN 3D Perfo Puzzle with round holes of various diameters have transformed and visually expanded the lobby space. For the cladding of the columns, the company supplied PERFATEN ALCORE A2 three-layer stainless steel panels.

The station "Lomonosovsky Prospekt", which is planned to open in the near future, is located at the intersection of Michurinsky and Lomonosovsky Prospekt. Two underground lobbies provide exits to the Institute of Mechanics of Moscow State University and to both sides of Lomonosovsky Prospekt.

The exact sciences became the main ideological component of the project. As in the case of the Minskaya station, the interior design was determined by the environment and, mainly, by the Moscow State University. Referring metro visitors to Mikhail Lomonosov's scientific work, the authors of the project suggested decorating the walls and columns of the station with graphic rows of numbers intersecting and overlapping each other. If you look more closely, it becomes obvious that these are not just numbers, but a sequence of Fibonacci numbers, in which each subsequent number is equal to the sum of the previous two.

A bright heavenly palette with cloudy patterns of numbers on light blue panels was chosen to decorate the interior of the station. Glossy metal surfaces coexist with vibrant graphics. The edges of the columns facing the trains are clad with three-layer PERFATEN ALCORE A2 stainless steel panels. The walls and ceiling in the lobbies and on the station platform are decorated with PERFATEN ALCORE three-layer aluminum honeycomb panels in combination with a metal slatted ceiling system. In the checkout areas and lobbies, the PERFATEN 3D Perfo Puzzle ceiling perforated aluminum panels are complemented by the PERFATEN MAGNO PRINT three-layer aluminum wall panels filled with a magnesian glass sheet and UV printing.

"Ramenki"

The Ramenki station is planned to be opened in the area of Vinnitskaya Street with an exit to Michurinsky Prospect from two underground lobbies located at its ends. For the safety of passengers, the platform is separated from the tracks by glass partitions with sliding doors.

The Ramenki stations are distinguished from the other two built stations by the cheerful drawings on the walls and columns. As the authors of the project explain, the theme of the station design is inspired by the history of the region, where oak groves used to rustle in place of city quarters. Now silhouettes of trees of different shades and stylized images of oak leaves on a pale green background remind of them.

Floral ornaments set off all the same metal panels and perforated ceilings. As in previous projects, we used three-layer PERFATEN ALCORE A2 stainless steel panels, wall and ceiling aluminum three-layer panels with PERFATEN ALCORE honeycomb filling, PERFATEN 3D Perfo Puzzle ceiling perforated aluminum panels with a slatted ceiling system and three-layer aluminum wall panels PERFATEN MAGNO glass magnesite sheet and UV printing.

TPU "Business Center"

Delovoy Tsentr is the main public transport hub in the Moscow City. It connects the MCC with the Mezhdunarodnaya metro station by a warm passage. In addition, directly from the TPU you can get to the skyscrapers of "Moscow City". Nearby is the Testovskaya platform of the Smolensk direction of the Moscow Railways.

The "Delovoy Tsentr" station itself - deep, three-span columnar type - was partially opened in 2014. Then, during the construction of the TPU, it was completed according to the documentation of Mosproekt-3 and made part of the transfer hub.

The spacious and laconic lobbies and crossings of the transport hub are finished with the most modern materials. ASP-Technology supplied three-layer PERFATEN ALCORE A2 panels for its decoration - they are faced with almost mirror-like columns. The rack-and-pinion ceiling system made it possible to realize a non-standard volumetric design of the ceiling above the escalators. It turned out like a blue waterfall tending downward, following the passengers. Three-layer PERFATEN ALCORE aluminum ceiling panels with honeycomb aluminum filling have become an excellent solution for decorating the station lobby.

The materials supplied by ASP-Technology were the best fit for the Moscow metro with its huge passenger traffic and, accordingly, the highest operational requirements. Steel and aluminum wall and facade systems are fireproof and resistant to damage. It is impossible not to say about the aesthetic component: the increased coefficient of light reflection of metal surfaces increased the illumination of rooms devoid of natural light, filled the space with glare and reflections.
