From January 30 to February 4, the Moscow Architectural School was trained as part of the annual course "GRAPHISOFT Winter School". Architects of the leading Moscow bureaus shared their valuable experience in BIM-design in the ARCHICAD environment®.
Initially, the GRAPHISOFT Winter School project was developed for teachers of specialized universities as a refresher course according to the current version of ARCHICAD. But after the second "Winter School", when it became clear that users also have an interest in such a format of training, it was decided to make it publicly available, while preserving preferential places for teachers.
This year, the Winter School was held for the fourth time, and the number of applications was almost double the number of places planned. The geography of the audience has also significantly expanded: users from Veliky Novgorod, Belgorod, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Samara, Simferopol, Togliatti, Odessa and Chisinau took part in the training.
The Winter School course this year turned out to be more intense than ever, many training modules were considered, including such important ones as visualization using the CineRender mechanism, organization of work in TEAMWORK, interaction with related disciplines through the IFC format and algorithmic design in RHINO. GRASSHOPPER. Thanks to the teachers, the participants were able to gain unique knowledge based on many years of practice.
An innovation in the program of the GRAPHISOFT Winter School-2017 was the final event, within which a unique exchange of experience took place: architects of the leading Moscow architectural bureaus demonstrated their best projects, spoke about the use of BIM technologies in working on these projects and answered questions from an impressed audience.
