March 02, 2017 - LG Electronics (LG) presented an updated range of household air conditioners and industrial equipment system MultiV 5 as part of its exposition at the International Exhibition Climate World 2017 at Expocentre, the main exhibition event for the HVAC & RAC industry in Russia.
The entire 2017 line is equipped with inverter compressors, which reduce energy consumption by up to 60%, ensure a noise level of up to 19 dB and guarantee uninterrupted operation of the system for at least 10 years.
The presentation was opened by Mr Il Hwan Lee, President of LG Electronics in Russia and the CIS, who welcomed the journalists and guests of the event. In his speech, he noted: “The main indicator of the manufacturability of the air conditioner is the degree of comfort that the buyer gets from its use. The most modern technologies are created and implemented in order to provide our user with the maximum number of opportunities to create ideal living conditions."
The introduction of the most modern technologies will simplify operation and provide remote control from anywhere in the world through the use of a built-in WiFi module and a specially created application for any electronic device. You can control the temperature in the apartment from your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
The Smart Diagnostics function will allow you to independently determine the breakdown, failure or system settings before calling the service center and will greatly simplify the maintenance process.
Using the “Power Control” function, you can really adjust the level of cooling depending on the number of people in the room, thereby saving money on energy. In addition to this, the 2017 model range uses a hidden display that allows real-time energy monitoring at the push of a button on the remote.
To extend the life cycle of the outdoor unit, which is most exposed to the external environment, the company's specialists have developed a special coating, GoldFin, which protects the elements from corrosion.
