The DOX Center for Contemporary Art in Prague has installed a new art object on its roof - a giant airship named Gulliver. The structure, 10 meters wide and 42 meters long, which stands out brightly against the background of the white building of the Center, is made of wood and metal. The prototype of the Prague balloon was the zeppelin - a type of airship with a rigid system; one of those that roamed the skies at the beginning of the 20th century, becoming an optimistic symbol of the era of technological advances.

As conceived by the authors, the interior space of the exhibit will be used for reading and discussing books - not without reason the airship received the name of one of the most famous literary characters-travelers. The director of the exhibition center Leoš Válka proposed to mount a large aircraft on the roof of DOX, and the project was carried out by a workshop

Huť architektury, led by architect Martin Rajniš.
