From 24 to 28 May, the 22nd International Exhibition of Architecture and Design ARCH Moscow NEXT was held in the Central House of Artists! Within the framework of the exhibition, GRAPHISOFT presented the new ARCHICAD 21 to the professional public.

NEXT! - this is the next step: architecture and environmental design, promising issues of the development of cities and other settlements, improvement, creation of a comfortable living environment, development of territories, development of industrial zones, transport infrastructure, new names, new approaches in education, trends, technologies, materials, etc. lighting. This year the exhibition brought together 270 participants from 13 countries of the world: Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Latvia, Poland, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France and Spain. According to the organizers, over 20,000 people attended the event in four days.
GRAPHISOFT traditionally took an active part in the exhibition, providing the visitors of ARCH Moscow-2017 with the opportunity to be the first to learn details about the new version of the flagship product ARCHICAD, as well as evaluate the BIMx application tools designed for permanent access to project data.
The world presentation of ARCHICAD 21 took place on May 26 in the main conference hall of the exhibition.
About 200 people got acquainted with the newest version of the program that day: architects, designers, heads of architectural bureaus and construction companies, teachers and students of the country's leading specialized universities, as well as representatives of Russian partners of the GRAPHISOFT company.
The presentation began with a welcoming speech from Andras Haidekker, Vice President of GRAPHISOFT for EMEA, and Yegor Kudrikov, Head of the Russian Representative Office of GRAPHISOFT. The speakers touched upon the strategic issues of the company's development, as well as plans for the further development of ARCHICAD.

For a direct demonstration of the main achievements of the 21st version of ARCHICAD, the top officials of GRAPHISOFT gave the floor to the product managers of the Russian representative office, Kirill Kondratenkov and Nikolai Zemlyansky. The technicians began with by far the most anticipated demonstration of the new Ladder tool. The audience was presented with a completely new logic of the tool, using the patented Predictive Design Technology, thanks to which the architect now has almost unlimited possibilities.
“Regardless of the type of project, designing stairs is one of the most difficult tasks,” comments Kirill Kondratenkov, lead product manager at GRAPHISOFT (Russia). “For us, as developers, it is very important to provide the architect with the most convenient and modern tool to implement even the most daring and complex tasks.”

At the end of the official part, the participants were invited to the stand of GRAPHISOFT, where everyone could personally evaluate the demonstrated capabilities of the new version of ARCHICAD 21, as well as, using the BIMx application and Google Cardboard glasses, take a virtual tour of the BIM model of the Russian pavilion at EXPO-2015 in Milan … The layout of the pavilion for the virtual area of the GRAPHISOFT stand was kindly provided by the SPEECH architectural bureau.
“Initially, we planned to conduct live mini-demonstrations of our solutions at the stand once a day. However, since there were a lot of people who wanted to learn about the innovations of the 21st version and try out virtual reality technologies, we can say that all the days of the exhibition at the stand there was a live demonstration in non-stop mode.
