On December 7, 2017, GOOD WOOD PLAZA hosted a seminar by Akzo Nobel, a world-renowned manufacturer of paints, coatings and specialty chemicals. De jure competitors, but de facto colleagues, the participants of the meeting gathered to discuss a number of important issues, united by one common theme - "Trends in wooden housing construction-2017".
The heads of large construction companies Stroy House, Zodchiy, GlavDachTrest, Norvex and many others from all regions of Russia arrived at the event at the head office of GOOD WOOD corporation.
One of the most anticipated speakers of the seminar was Alexander Pogoreltsev - Head of the Laboratory of Wooden Structures of the V. A. Kucherenko. By the way, it was Alexander Alekseevich who checked the calculations and conducted fire tests during the development of the project and the construction of GOOD WOOD PLAZA. So, with full confidence, it can be called the godfather of the first multi-storey wooden office in Russia.
The speech of the architect Oleg Karlson, whose theme was the reconstruction of buildings, caused a serious resonance. Its necessity, according to the head of the Carlson & Co design and construction bureau, is in most cases caused by the unprofessionalism of architects and builders. As part of his speech, Oleg Karlson also presented his own expert program "Doctor HOUSE" - recommendations for the processing of facades and house layouts. The GOOD WOOD management decided to immediately send the plans for the most popular projects - SP-250 and IP-481 for analysis to the master.
During the day, the participants of the seminar had time to discuss the most diverse aspects of professional activity: the factors of success of construction companies and the specifics of marketing, the crisis, problems of legislation and much more.
“It is a great honor for us to receive such guests and such important events for the industry! - Alexander Dubovenko, managing partner of GOOD WOOD corporation, commented on the event. - In my speech, I called on my colleagues to cooperate and synergy, without which we all will have a very hard time. I believe that it is at such meetings that the history of wooden housing construction is made. Thanks to Akzo Nobel and personally to its head in Russia and the CIS Maxim Molchanov for work in this direction!"
