BIM - Building Information Modeling is a modern approach to the construction, equipment, maintenance and repair of a building. A three-dimensional model of a construction object is designed as a single whole and integrates an information database. The introduction of BIM technologies in the field of industrial and civil construction, approved by the order of the Ministry of Construction of Russia No. 926 / pr dated December 29, 2014. As part of the development of the standardization system in construction and the practical application of the BIM-modeling system, the FAU "FCS" is working together with experts from the British Standards Institute (BSI). Drawing on the experience of British colleagues, attention is also paid to the development and implementation of standards for "smart cities", comfortable and efficient buildings.
