The contestants will have to design a design school that would become an up-to-date reflection of the Bauhaus philosophy. You can choose a place for your object yourself. The area should not exceed 10,000 m². The main thing is to discard outdated views and offer fresh ideas for improving design education.

Jacques Rougerie Foundation Prize 2019
The prize is awarded annually for the best innovative architectural solutions for maritime and outer space. Projects should be designed with a modern vision of the future in mind. Among the main requirements: innovation, aesthetics, environmental friendliness, social orientation. The winners will not only receive a cash prize, but will also be able to benefit from the support of the Jacques Rougerie Foundation to deepen their knowledge of their projects.

Affordable urban housing
The competition is dedicated to the problem of the shortage of affordable housing in modern large cities. The task is to propose ideas for universal, replicable, possibly modular residential buildings, the construction of which would be possible in conditions of limited resources (finance, land, materials). To create a project, you can choose any metropolis of your choice.

Zen hotel - lighthouse
Ideas for the creation of a conceptual zen hotel-lighthouse on Lake Avandaro in Mexico are accepted for the competition. It should become not only a place for recreation, but also a spectacular viewing platform and an architectural symbol of this picturesque place. The hotel must be accessible by water and land.

Observation deck for the Museum of Contemporary Art
The aim of the competition is to select the best design for an observation deck near the construction site of the new headquarters of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Construction will take another three years and the temporary structure could also serve as an information center - to ensure communication of the museum with the townspeople until the end of the work. The best project is planned to be implemented.

Low Line Development
The Low Line is a new walking route planned to be built around the old railway viaduct in London. The main points of the route will be one and a half century arches, the concept of arrangement of which will need to be developed within the framework of the competition. Some sections of the Low Line are already open, now the contestants must formulate a scenario for the development of the project.

New Stockach
The competition is dedicated to the redevelopment of one of the industrial areas of Stuttgart. Comfortable housing and missing infrastructure should appear here. Rockfon concept of ceilings, acoustic, life 2019
Interior design projects made using Rockfon products are accepted for the competition. There are five nominations in the competition:
- Best office interior
- The best interior of an educational institution
- The best interior of a medical institution
- The best interior of a sports facility
- The best interior of an object of the leisure and entertainment industry (restaurant, hotel, cinema, leisure center, etc.)
The winners will have a trip to Denmark with an architectural excursion program and a visit to the offices of Rockfon and ROCKWOOL Group.

Facades of residential buildings series 1-335 in Izhevsk
The purpose of the competition is to determine the best draft designs for the overhaul of the facades of residential buildings of the 1-335 series in the Industrial District of Izhevsk. The renovation is planned to be carried out using the "wet facade" technology. Projects should be realizable, environmentally friendly, economical, take into account urban planning requirements and technical regulations for the formation of a safe environment.

Lexus Design Award 2020 - international competition for young designers
The theme of the annual Lexus Design Award is once again “Design for a Better Future”. Young talents have a unique opportunity to develop the design of an object that will allow in any way to change the future, contribute to the development of society, and see how their creations will be embodied in reality.
Participants are encouraged to create objects in various areas of design that would reveal the stated theme. These objects must be unique, original, but at the same time rather simple to manufacture.
In parallel with the global competition, the local, Russian LDA Russia Top Choice will also be held. Participants can win a trip to Milan Design Week or special prizes from Lexus.

Robotic pharmaceutical warehouse
Pharmathek is looking for a new design for the Sintesi robotic warehouse, which is used in pharmacies to store drugs. Sintesi warehouse is modular, it can be adapted to any premises. Designs must be suitable for mass production.

RIBA International Award 2020
The RIBA International Prize is being held for the third time and honors the best architectural projects implemented over the past three years (since January 2015). Architects' citizenship and presence / absence of RIBA membership are irrelevant. Buildings of any type and any construction budget can participate. All objects that will be included in the shortlist will be visited by experts in person. The best building in the world will be announced in November next year.

IIDA Award: Design for Medical Facilities 2019
Design projects of interiors of medical institutions, completed not earlier than June 2017, are accepted for the competition. The works are evaluated in 14 categories. The organizer of the competition is the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
