DORMA Huppe Variflex 100 mobile walls. Dormakaba company glad to announce that not only did the test on VOC emissions with honors, but also set new standards in this region.
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions were evaluated and analyzed in this test against the standards of the Committee for the Assessment of the Effects of Building Materials on Human Health (AgBB 2018). View certificate.
As a result of these tests, which took place at the Eco-Institute in Cologne, results were obtained significantly better than the average values - 0.057 mg / m³ or 57 μg / m³ for Variflex 100 (upper limit according to AgBB ≦ 1 mg / m³ or 1,000 μg / m³). Similar equipment from other manufacturers has at least 2 times more emissions.
Explanatory note on VOCs (volatile organic compounds):
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are toxic chemicals that can be gaseous in the air in your home. They pose a serious health hazard, as they interact with chemical compounds present in the body and can cause health problems such as headaches, increased fatigue, sleep disturbances, and respiratory diseases. Potentially dangerous sources of VOCs are low-quality finishing materials and design items (materials for finishing floors, ceilings, walls, paints, varnishes, furniture, decor materials, etc.).
The policy of the DORMA Huppe company is aimed at the production of not only technically high-quality equipment, but also safe for the health of consumers. DORMA Huppe equipment is guaranteed to be supplied for projects with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) or DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) standards.
