ROCKWOOL continues to introduce convenient services for BIM-design: a catalog of solutions using technical isolation for the Autodesk Revit software package has been released. It presents 41 nodes and 17 structures that the user can easily transfer to their project. The catalog is available for download on the manufacturer's website and in the BIMLIB library.

Each Revit structure in the ROCKWOOL catalog is presented as a family with a description for effective use in the project. The constructions are divided into systems, which simplifies navigation and the choice of a technical solution. In the new program, 41 nodes are available: air ducts, equipment, tanks, and so on. And also 17 of the most popular designs - from thermal insulation of pipelines and air ducts to fire protection of metal columns and beams. All elements graphically correspond to Rockwool stone wool solutions, taking into account their real parameters, description and characteristics. Thanks to this, by changing the thickness of the material, you can immediately calculate the consumption of other components, for example, fasteners, which are used in this structure. Drawing views are available in color, allowing you to create a realistic model of your project on-screen.

“Our services are aimed at improving the convenience for specialists using BIM-modeling in their work: designers, builders, maintenance engineers. The new catalog complements a wide range of BIM families and allows designers to easily and effectively use them when creating an intelligent building model,”commented Tatiana Konovaltseva, Head of Design and Technical Support, Rockwool.

Projects and templates are developed for Autodesk Revit versions 2017, 2018 and 2019. All designs are presented in RTE (templates) and RVT (projects) formats that can be used to create a new project. Also, all structures and assemblies are available in RFA (family) format, which can be loaded into the library and used in any project.
