On July 3, 1, the open call of the open all-Russian Brick competition, held by the Project Baltia magazine and the ARCHITAIL company, started. Specialists in the field of architecture, up to 30 years old, are invited to participate. Grand Prix - 100,000 rubles.

The brick competition is held with the aim of updating brick as a building material that is becoming more and more in demand all over the world, as well as developing new formal approaches in architecture based on the rich centuries-old heritage of brick architecture. Participants of the competition will create their own versions of the "brick style" and will have the opportunity, through online consultations, to get acquainted with the history, the most modern masonry technologies and the nomenclature of bricks.

The competition is held in a "paper" format and does not imply the implementation of the winning projects, but the proposals will be considered by highly professional experts and jury members with the utmost rigor - as if the implementation was planned.

Mandatory requirement for all participants - use in projects of types of bricks presented on the Russian market by the ARCHITAIL company.

The brick competition will be held in three categories:

I - "Brick City House";

II - "Brick country house";

III - "Brick public space".

  • Sergei Padalko, head of the Vitruvius and Sons bureau;
  • Artem Nikiforov, architect;
  • Alexey Kozyr, architect (Moscow);
  • Andrey Doinitsyn, head of the New RASA bureau (Rostov-on-Don);
  • Konstantin Novikov, partner at Yudin & Novikov;
  • Artem Ukropov, partner of the Megabudka bureau (Moscow);
  • Yuri Khitrov, commercial director of the ARCHITALE North-West company.
  • Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina - chief architect of Kazan
  • Executive secretary of the jury with the right to vote: Vladimir Frolov, editor-in-chief of Project Baltia magazine.

To submit an application, an applicant must register on the competition website and send his project to [email protected]. Each applicant has the right to apply in one or several nominations.

The results of the competition will be published in the Project Baltia magazine and on the projectbaltia.com website, and also demonstrated at an exhibition in St. Petersburg.

The competition includes awards:

Grand Prix - 100,000 rubles.

The first prize in each of the three nominations is 25,000 rubles.
