The Italian company Magni is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of telescopic handlers and lifts for a wide range of professional activities: from construction to mining. About 1084 units of new equipment are assembled annually, which are subsequently sold on all continents through a network of official representations and intermediaries. Today the Magni family has more than 250 permanent employees, but few people know that the history of this company began with just one person - Pietro Magni. He started out as a simple mechanic, making a living repairing agricultural machinery, and in his spare time constructing carts for farmers. Close contact with mechanisms that are used every day to the limit of available capabilities, allowed the future inventor to come up with several interesting design solutions that were embodied in real machines. This is how the company was founded, initially focused on the production of tower cranes for the construction industry.
By 1972, the sons of Pietro entered the family business, after which FARGH SpA was founded, specializing in hydraulic cranes. After some 8 years, the first telescopic loader in Europe with a working boom, which had no analogues at that time, was designed. This gave the company an incredible impetus in development, because all the closest competitors at one point were far behind. A year later, in 1981, FARGH is headed by Riccardo Magni, the son of Pietro Magni, who managed to build on his father's success.
Riccardo Magni later founded Magni Telescopic Handlers with his sons - the very company that has established itself as one of the best suppliers of telescopic handlers. Along with them, universal lifts have been developed, among which the self-propelled scissor lifts with a lifting height of 6 to 16 meters stand out.
