The topic of the event was a discussion of the potential of the low-rise construction segment in Russia, as well as an overview of window solutions allowing the construction of country houses in accordance with the latest trends in the field of comfort, energy balance and design … In Russia, this direction is at the stage of active development. According to Rosstat, of the 80.3 million m2 of housing built in our country in 2019, 36.8 million m2 falls on individual housing construction (IHS). Thus, the share of individual housing construction in the total volume of housing commissioned is 45.83% (in 2018 - 42.85%).

This segment is becoming even more attractive for window market participants due to glazing trends that have come to Russia from Europe.

One of themstriving to ensure high energy efficiency of housing by installing modern PVC windows. As an answer to this need, REHAU is ready to offer owners of country houses sealed structures based on a variety of profile systems: from basic ones that combine the competitive cost and European quality of REHAU, to flagship ones that are used in houses with zero energy consumption. Experts of the company willingly shared information about REHAU products and their capabilities with everyone.

The second important trend noted by the workshop participants was the increase in insolation.… The fashion for panoramic windows, which has swept over Germany, Finland, Austria, Japan and a number of other countries, has now reached Russia. In this regard, the main task of window and component manufacturers is to increase the dimensions of structures while maintaining such indicators as ease of use, energy efficiency and resistance to burglary. Each of the Big Three G3 companies is already making a significant contribution to its solution. So, in the REHAU catalog there are sliding systems that allow the manufacture of structures up to 10 m wide and up to 2.7 m high, AGC produces shock-resistant glass units, and Roto company - high-quality fittings that are optimally suited for large-sized windows and portals.

“For REHAU, AGC and Roto, 2020 is being held under the slogan 'The Year of Low-Rise Architecture G3'. We see great prospects for development in this segment and are glad that this point of view is shared by many of our partners. We would like to express our gratitude to GOOD WOOD for the excellent opportunity to exchange experience and coordinate our actions in order to bring low-rise construction in Russia closer to the best European and world standards,”said Andrey Beloedov, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at REHAU in Eastern Europe.
