The largest ensemble of museums and theater buildings worth 500 million euros has been open to visitors since 1998. The "Palace of Arts" remained the last unfinished building on its territory. It is located between decorative pools: a volume 70 m high and 230 m long resembles the shape of a shell valve, above which an arch is raised, supported on one side by a huge pylon. Thanks to the diamond-shaped opening in one of the "doors", the building also resembles a huge eye.

The interior of the only one of the four auditoriums, already ready to stage performances, is decorated with mosaics in blue tones, and the tiers of the balcony are made of white concrete. The hall is designed for 1800 spectators.

The "Palace" is adapted for any theatrical performances and concerts. Its total area is 40,000 sq. The four halls, which will be fully completed in 2006, will accommodate a total of 4,000 people, and another 2,000 will be able to sit outside, under the building overhanging the square in front of the theater, and watch what is happening on the stage on a giant screen.

The "Palace of Arts", which was attended by the Queen of Spain Sofia herself, cost the province of Valencia 250 million euros, which is three times more than the project outlined in the budget.
