There are the Palace of Arts, "L'Emisferic" - a domed structure with a planetarium and a cinerama, a research center. Now they will be complemented by several vertical elements.
The towers are slightly curved cylindrical volumes of varying heights. They will house residential and office premises.
"Torre Valencia" will reach a height of 308 meters and will be the tallest building in Spain. The Castello and Alicante towers will be 266 and 220 m, respectively.
Glass structures, due to their curves, will have to create unusual lighting effects, while transforming into pseudo-organic structures.
On March 8, it was reported that Calatrava had won the MIT McDermott Prize for Excellence in Creative Achievement.
