Wilkinson Air has developed an ambitious plan for the harbor of Salford, a satellite city of Manchester, a mixed development area whose main function is to provide space for various types of media - television, radio, network resources. The main site there will belong to the complex of the new BBC headquarters. The company plans to relocate most of its TV and radio channels from London and central Manchester. In total, Media City will employ up to 15,500 people by 2011.

So far, along with the master plan, the final designs of the three largest buildings are ready. We are talking about a complex of studios and offices, as well as two buildings containing shops, offices and housing. From the point of view of their appearance, they will be united by the same aluminum curtain walls of the facades.

A detailed design of the main studio building and smaller structures is planned to be presented later, by the end of this year.
