The semantic and compositional center of the building is the covered atrium, a kind of covered area, which overlooks the premises of the bank, agricultural cooperative society and the chamber of commerce - institutions necessary in the everyday life of the townspeople. Theatrical performances and festive events can also be held there.
This inner "area" is separated from the outer by sliding doors, which are constantly open during the warmer months; this is how a single public space will emerge.
Not only the walls are made of Japanese cedar, but the supporting structure of the building: a double lattice girder structure with vertical supports spaced 18 m apart from each other.
