This is a so-called concept store located in the Armani Ginza Tower.

Its 12 floors house boutiques of men's and women's clothing and accessories of this Italian brand, a home furnishings store combined with an exclusive designer workshop, a restaurant, Emporio Armani Caffe, a spa center, flower and book stores, a cosmetics and perfumery department, and - showroom.

For example, Ginza, which has a reputation for high-end shopping since the 19th century, may be trying to compete with the more modern Omotesando, where a large number of boutiques of international fashion brands are concentrated, built on the projects of the "stars" of world architecture.

The more traditional nature of the surrounding buildings imposed certain restrictions on the construction of Fuksas: in particular, he had to limit the height of his tower to 56 meters, since this is the legal maximum for this area of Tokyo.

But, on the whole, the Armani Ginza Tower gives the impression of a very restrained building from a formal point of view: since we are talking about a commercial institution, the architect has coordinated his project with Giorgio Armani's signature style, which combines “luxury and strict elegance”.

The main motive for the solution of the facades and the interior is the use of bamboo and gilded metal profiles, as well as milky-white matte plexiglass, used for more effective illumination of the building at night. Openwork gold metal panels are also widely used in the interior design, in particular, fencing off individual tables in the tower restaurant.

Black and gold - the main colors of the building - will also be used in the design of the special edition "Armani / Ginza Tower", which will be available only in this Tokyo store.
