We are talking about an exemplary transport hub of the future; the terms of the assignment were taken from the average statistical data on Parisian metro stations - the density and variety of surrounding buildings, the number of residents of the surrounding area, etc. Osmos is located in the center of a rapidly developing 112 hectare quarter, its site occupies half a hectare. There is a large square and a wide boulevard nearby, which is in the process of reconstruction. The station should serve the existing line 15 (Paris) and the future line 21 (connecting the capital with the cities of Ile-de-France): the first aprons are at a depth of 8 m, the second - 18 m; 10,000 passengers pass through the station per hour, then change to buses, bicycles, private cars or taxis. All this is dry initial data, and for the project of the station itself, RATP set the following requirements: functional communication between all new and existing modes of transport, effective integration of the city and station space, well-thought-out layout of functional zones, a wide range of services for passengers, ensuring maximum comfort and safety., resource efficiency and environmental friendliness.

FOA architects see the new metro as "open" - like an open-air theater. Thus, the urban public space and the premises of the station are connected, where it is possible to introduce landscaping; the outer facades of the building can be occupied by shops, cafes, infrastructure facilities.

In the workshop of Iñaki Abalos, they developed a project for the station - a vertically oriented structure visible from afar, where various functional zones are located one above the other - in layers. They are united by a covered atrium, which resembles a subway tunnel in its oval cross-section.

Périphériques Architectes proposed the Stamin / Stamax concept - "station minimum / station maximum". According to their plan, the core of this transport hub should be built according to a standard design ("minimum"), which should then be surrounded by additional functional sectors that meet the specific needs of residents of a particular area. Also, the original size of the building depends on local conditions.
