In 2014, the Moscow Metro will put into operation a new strategic facility - the first stage of the new Mitino depot, where maintenance and sludge of electric rolling stock will be carried out.
The total area of the depot is 23.5 hectares, the building area is about 99 thousand square meters. The most modern equipment will be installed in the depot, including: stands for diagnostics, repair and testing of electrical machines, units and parts; multi-level mechanized platforms for maintenance and repair of cars; universal metalworking equipment of the required performance for the repair of wheelsets.
Mitino will become the base depot for maintenance, current and average repairs of Rusich cars of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya, Butovskaya, Filyovskaya and Koltsevaya metro lines.
During the construction of the depot facilities, special attention was paid to creating a comfortable environment both in the premises intended for storing and servicing trains, and for specialists performing the necessary range of work. The achievement of this task became possible due to the insulation of buildings with high-quality thermal insulation materials of the TechnoNICOL line, produced on the basis of stone wool.
More than 19,000 m3 of stone wool slabs were supplied to equip Mitino facilities. The roof of the new depot under the protection of TN-ROOF Titan is a system of an unexploited roof on a profiled flooring with a prefabricated screed. In this system, TECHNOROOF 45 plates are used for insulation - this is the main heat-insulating layer in the roof. Plates have a high heat-saving ability, high resistance to deformation and mechanical stress. To remove water from the roof of the hangars, special plates with a predetermined slope TECHNOROOF N30 WEDGE are applied to the catchment points in the system. They are mounted in a second layer on top of TECHNOROOF 45 boards.
The facades of buildings with a hinged ventilated system in the Mitino depot are reliably insulated with insulation - a combination of TECHNOVENT STANDARD and TECHNOLIGHT EXTRA boards. This two-layer insulation provides a high level of thermal insulation, excluding cold bridges, due to the overlapping of the seams. The high density of TECHNOVENT STANDARD boards and the special arrangement of the fibers allow the use of boards without the use of windproof films, which is confirmed by the conclusion of NIISF.
