A multifunctional complex combining luxury apartments with extensive infrastructure and commercial space, located on the outskirts of Monterrey. Eight tiers-platforms are easy to read in his composition: they are somewhat shifted and hang over each other, forming shallow loggias. Thus, each of them partially shades the windows of the neighboring ones, which is necessary in the local extremely hot climate. As a result, the three facades of the building received a whimsical surface of protruding and receding tiers: thanks to shading, Rohkind was able to actively use glazing, which he combined with cladding made of local stone, which, by the way, also cooled the premises. The facades facing the intersection bend, forming a small area: it is designed for visitors to the shopping arcade, which occupies the first two levels of the complex.
The fourth façade, hidden from the busy streets, rises with wide curved terraces that give it a resemblance to ancient ziggurats. Each such platform, equipped with a variety of recreational infrastructure, has several apartments. Extensive vertical landscaping of terraces saves residents from the heat; in addition, they have panoramic views of the Sierra Madre mountains. You can also view the landscape from the roof of the building, where observation decks are arranged. At the top, the floors and the platforms themselves taper: here are some of the most comfortable apartments, as well as a spa, pool and gym. In general, the area of apartments varies from 250 to 650 m2, and all of them, according to the architect's plan, will have a unique design.
The construction of the complex is planned to begin this summer.
